Our Story
Our business started with Wankei's passion for wine in pursuit her Ph. D of Bioresource Science. "We collaborate with families who owns their own wineries in both France and New Zealand, for our own, private label. "
We are aiming to produce refined wines that are capable of aging gracefully. We are trying to emphasize texture, structure and finesse, wines that are balanced and show elegance, not heavy handed and over oaked. These wines will enhance food and tease out nuance and layers of complexity.
From our humble beginnings, our commitment to quality became Wankei's label of fine wines. Our philosophy is a celebration of vintage, making each wine a unique and an interesting reflection of the growing season.
We are, in essence, capturing a moment in time, which will later be opened, thus creating another magical moment when you share it with your loved ones and friends.
